Homemade Shea Butter Hair Cream
Decided to make my own hair cream since I was having a hard time finding a product that would work on my hair. So, I found the products and decided to give it a try. Who knew it was so simple! Try it and see.
Ingredients:
- 4 oz raw unrefined shea butter
- 1 1/2 tbs pure jojoba oil
- 1/2 tsp pure castor oil
Equipment Needed:
- mixing bowl
- electric hand mixer
- storage container (about 6oz)
Directions:
Break shea butter into small chunks.
Place chunks in a bowl. Mix on low speed to mash the chunks into a soft paste.
Add jojoba oil to the bowl.
Add castor oil to the bowl. Combine the oils and mix on high speed.
Blend until it becomes a light creamy fluffy texture.
Place into an airtight container. Store in a cool dark place away from sunlight.
